TRADING TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms apply to all transactions conducted via A&A Carz: buying, selling, repair, services, parts supply.

QUOTATION & ACCEPTANCE

  • All quotes (for car purchase, repair, parts) are valid for 30 days, or as stated.
  • A binding contract arises when we accept your order in writing (email or order confirmation).

PRICE & PAYMENT

  • Prices exclude VAT unless stated.
  • Payment must be made as per the invoice terms (e.g. upon delivery, 14 days net).
  • Late payments may incur interest (e.g. 8% over Bank of England base rate) plus recovery costs.

VEHICLE / GOODS DELIVERY / COLLECTION

For vehicle sales, risk and title pass when the vehicle is delivered or collected by you.
  • For parts or goods, risk passes upon delivery to your premises or chosen carrier.
  • We aim to meet delivery timelines, but delays beyond our control (supplier issues, transport) may occur.

REPAIRS & SERVICES

  • We will perform repair and service work using reasonable skill and care, using standard industry practices.
  • Any additional work or parts beyond the agreed scope will require your approval in writing.
  • You must collect the vehicle within a reasonable timeframe; prolonged storage may incur storage fees.

CANCELLATION & RETURNS

  • For goods (e.g. parts), returns accepted if unused, in original packaging, within 14 days — you must notify us in writing.
  • For services/repair work, once work begins you may not cancel that part entirely; partial refunds subject to deductions.
  • For vehicle sales, the cancellation rights depend on whether you are acting as a consumer or business — consumer laws apply.

WARRANTIES & DEFECTS

  • We warrant that parts and goods we supply are free from defects and fit for their intended purpose, within legal limits.
  • You should inspect goods on delivery and notify us of defects within 7 days.
  • For services and repairs, notify us promptly if workmanship issues arise.
  • Our liability is limited (e.g. repair, replacement, or re-performance).

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

  • Subject to statutory consumer rights, our liability is limited to direct losses up to the amount paid for the contract.
  • We exclude liability for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, reputation damage, etc.

FORCE MAJEURE

We are not liable for delays or non-performance caused by events outside our reasonable control (natural disaster, supplier failure, strikes, pandemic, etc.).

ASSIGNMENT

You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without prior written consent of A&A Carz.

SEVERABILITY & WAIVER

  • If any provision is held invalid, that does not invalidate the remainder.
  • A waiver of any breach does not constitute waiver of later breaches.
